  • Host Home

Host Homes are one of the most rewarding ways to get involved with AYL.  The host home will host a group of 6-8 students with 2 college leaders in their home.  You will assist with meals and transportation of the students to and from the church as well as recruiting help from the parents of the other students in the group for meals and transportation as well.  There will be dinner on Friday and Saturday nights and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  If you have any questions, please e mail Jenny Hudson jdhudson@comcast.net.

    • Host Home Training: Sunday, Jan. 26 at 12:30 p.m. in the Dod Catacombs

  • Host home helper

A host home helper will be assigned to each host home to help with meals and transportation as well as helping to solicit help from other parents of the student group for driving, food, etc.  Effort will be made to assign the host home helper to his or her student's host home but cannot always be guaranteed.

If you have any questions please email Jenny Hudson, jdhudson@comcast.net.

  • College Leader

College Leaders have the opportunity to give back to Roswell Student Ministry in a big way. You will lead a small group of 8-12 grade students for the weekend. You all will worship together, eat together, play together, and serve together. It is an amazing experience and we want you to be a part of it. For more information please contact Mary Stephens, stephens.mary.r@gmail.com.

  • Missions

All day Saturday our students have the opportunity to serve near and far. Our older students go to Atlanta and serve within the homeless community while our middle school students stay right here in Roswell and serve their own community. Some of our favorite projects over the years have been refurbishing the prayer stations on the RUMC campus, hosting a prom for EnAble, delivering cookies to local fire stations, and playing games with the residents of senior living facilities. We need a lot of adult volunteers to make each of these projects happen.
